As reported on Business Insider:

- Top ads on the list boast star-studded casts, including Scarlett Johansson and Guy Fieri.
The Super Bowl is the most expensive advertising day of the year, but not all commercials are created equal.
Some Super Bowl ads have already begun to pick up steam online. Insider reviewed data from three social media measurement companies to see which ads were getting the most buzz and positive sentiment leading up to Super Bowl Sunday.
Data from Sprout Social found that brands like Amazon, Budweiser, and Nissan have been generating more mentions on social media leading up to the big game. Brandwatch said that interest in the Super Bowl commercials has been buoyed by mentions of celebrities, including Megan Thee Stallion, Guy Fieri, and Scarlett Johansson.
Tubular Labs broke down the commercials that received the most combined views to date across YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter. Here are the top 10 Super Bowl commercials leading up to the big game, according to the company.
The software company’s ad takes a jab at the billionaire space race, as well as the metaverse.
The 60-second commercial shows actor Matthew McConaughey in a hot air balloon floating in outer space and illustrates the contrast between building a future in the metaverse or outer space with maintaining the Earth and building connections in everyday life.
The video appears to allude to Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk’s preoccupation with building a future in outer space. Last year, Bezos and billionaire Richard Branson flew into space — a move that was met with criticism by Bill Gates and a UN Chief.
"It’s not time to escape, it’s time to engage," McConaughey says in the video. "While the others look to the metaverse and Mars, let’s stay here and restore ours," he adds.
9. Sam’s Club
The retailer’s ad highlights its Scan & Go option for shoppers.
Sam’s Club 30-second commercial shows Kevin Hart using the option. The comedian jokes that he uses it as a VIP.
Sam’s Club released Scan & Go in 2017. It allows shoppers to avoid using a traditional checkout and instead use their mobile phone to scan items and add them to their virtual cart. With the mobile option, shoppers can skip any lines and merely show the digital transaction to a greeter at the exit.
8. Flamin’ Hot Cheetos
The snack company’s commercial features Megan Thee Stallion.
The short teaser shows the singer coming into an ad shoot for Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. A production assistant asks her a series of questions, including whether she has an allergies to foxes or water buffaloes and whether she feels comfortable around crocodiles. The ad teases a big reveal for Cheetos’ official Super Bowl commercial on Sunday.
Budweiser is returning to the Super Bowl ad lineup after skipping last year for first time in nearly 40 years.
The beverage company’s video features its iconic Clydesdale horse. In the video, the horse is injured, but just when it appears everyone has given up hope on the horse’s recovery it stands up on its own.
"In the home of the brave, down never means out," the ad says.
The chip company’s ad teases a commercial with Seth Rogan.
In the 15-second teaser, a Rogan super fan appears to pay homage to the popular comedian. The video is overlaid with ominous music and shows the fan singing to a shrine of Rogan.
5. Bud Light NEXT
Bud Light highlights its new zero-carb beer in one of its Super Bowl ads.
The commercial shows people breaking out of cubicles and everyday life and reimagines an art museum with digital art pieces. The video has the tagline "Zero in the way of possibility."
Anheuser-Busch announced last month that it planned to release the zero-carb beer, Bud Light NEXT, on February 7. The drink is only 80 calories and 4% alcohol.
4. Bud Light Seltzer Hard Soda
Bud Light’s seltzer ad features celebrity chef Guy Fieri.
The video shows three friends embarking on a journey through their refrigerator to the "Land of Flavors." As the self-proclaimed "Mayor of Flavortown," Fieri dubs the Bud Light Seltzer Hard Soda the "loudest flavor" of all time.
Pepsi’s halftime show trailer has already garnered nearly 14 million views on YouTube.
The nearly four minute video titled "The Call" is star-studded. It opens with Eminem battling his Slim Shady alter ego and transitions through a series of calls to show Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, and Dr. Dre.
The video mashes the various artists’ music together and gives a taste of what viewers can expect when the hip hop and R&B stars take the stage at the Super Bowl on Sunday.
Amazon’s commercial takes a playful stab at what it would be like if its virtual personal assistant, Alexa, could read people’s minds.
The video stars actress Scarlett Johansson and her real-life husband, SNL comedian Colin Jost. As the couple prepares for game day, they imagine what their life would look like if their Amazon Echo could read their minds. The scenario quickly turns awry.
Nissan’s Super Bowl spot focused on its new Nissan Z.
The video features Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara, Brie Larsen, Danai Gurira, and Dave Bautista. Levy takes the car for a ride in the video and it quickly turns into a mini action movie as he races through explosions and sails over buildings. In the video, O’Hara drives the carmaker’s new all-electric Nissan Ariya.
Both cars will not be available for purchase until later this year.
